Throughout the year AIESEC Indonesia has created many projects in order to give impact to society and raising the awareness of society of world issues. AIESEC project is known as Project Based on Exchange that connect Social Project with international perspective through Global Community Development Programmes. Exchange Participants together with youth in Indonesia are discussing and creating activities to increase the awareness of specific world issue and aiming to create a cultural understanding of the society.
This year, AIESEC Indonesia project divided into Local Project and National Project. National Project initiative is the project that is run throughout six local committees and also expansion in Indonesia.
Here are the national project initiatives of AIESEC in Indonesia
- Nokia Siemens Network Project : Youth Fight Against AIDS and Drugs
Nokia Siemens Network Project it is a joint collaboration project between AIESEC Indonesia and Nokia Siemens Project that is aiming to raise the awareness of youth of the danger using Drugs and also awareness on HIV AIDS issue that is commonly known in youth through the usage of technology. This Project invite around 100 Exchange Participants from 19 countries to spread the awareness in Junior and Senior High School in Indonesia.
- Unilever Project STOP AIDS

This project is a national project cooperating with Unilever as being a long time partner for HIV AIDS project. The unilever HIV AIDS project has been run since 2009. this project is aiming to raising the awareness of HIV AIDS especially for young people and the students. this project run nationally in 8 cities which are Jakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Semarang, Padang, Jogjakarta, Bogor,and Bandung

- Social Entrepreneurship National Project

This project is a national project that runs in 6 cities ( Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, Padang, and Malang), with different focus of social entrepreneurship that is unique according to the current situation in each of city. With the vision to create young entrepreneur with social awareness and responsibility and therefore can solve the problem and issue in the city
Duration : 6- 8 weeks
Timeline : Preparation ( October-December 2011) Execution (January-March 2012)
