Jakarta, 26 September 2024 – AIESEC in Trisakti proudly announced the successful completion of its highly anticipated Local Project Summer Peak, featuring Once Upon a Child 9.0 and The Golden Hour 3.0. This year’s Local Project was a dynamic four-week initiative that combined both online and offline activities, designed to develop youth leadership, promote personal growth, and advance critical social causes. These projects focused on supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and addressed two pivotal areas: quality education and mental health.
Once Upon a Child 9.0
Since its inception in 2019, Once Upon a Child played a crucial role in supporting SDG 4 (Quality Education). The 9.0 edition, which ran from July 15th to August 9th, 2024, continued this legacy by focusing on early childhood education in Jakarta. The project aimed to ensure that all children, regardless of background, had access to quality early education that would lead to meaningful and effective learning outcomes.
In the face of globalization and its challenges, the importance of equitable access to quality education could not be overstated. Over the course of four weeks, participants engaged in activities such as teaching basic English to kindergarten children, conducting interactive webinars, and holding discussions on educational issues in Indonesia. Cross-cultural leadership sharing sessions also took place.
Noteworthy speakers included Randi Dwi Anggriawan (Content Creator), Fenny Ayuningtyas (Teacher and Educator), Robik Anwar Dani (Lecturer and Psychologist), Khusna Wakhidah (Educator), and Amara Nindya Ahmad (Project Leader, Global Youth Ambassador). Together, they inspired participants and sparked meaningful conversations about the future of education in Indonesia.

The Golden Hour 3.0
Meanwhile, The Golden Hour 3.0 (TGH 3.0) built on the success of its previous iterations, focusing on SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), with a special emphasis on mental health for teenagers. This project was designed for active high school students, undergraduates, and recent graduates from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. The goal was to raise awareness about mental health issues, provide support, and equip participants with tools to manage their well-being in today’s fast-paced world.
Through a combination of workshops, peer group counseling, online campaigns, and networking spaces, participants gained valuable insights into mental health challenges while also honing their leadership skills and expanding their networks both locally and internationally. TGH 3.0 also offered an exclusive opportunity for youth to earn e-certificates and receive exclusive merchandise, adding extra value to their learning journey.
The program culminated in a School Roadshow and Global Village, which offered students a platform to share experiences, celebrate diversity, and engage with AIESEC members from Prasetiya Mulya in a special LC2LC collaboration.
AIESEC in Trisakti’s Local Project Summer Peak provided a holistic youth development experience that promoted well-being, leadership skills, and meaningful connections—essential for building a brighter and more inclusive future.
