The event was a vibrant celebration of youth leadership and personal growth, organized by AIESEC in Bandung under the theme “Embrace The Endless Opportunities with AIESEC”. Through insightful sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants were equipped with essential skills and knowledge to start their leadership journeys and become impactful change-makers in their communities.
Jumpstart Your Journey with AIESEC
In this first session, the President of AIESEC in Bandung Jessica Gabriella passionately explained what AIESEC is and how it remains relevant to the city of Bandung. She explained what AIESEC is, particularly in Bandung, and what are the next journey for AIESEC in Bandung will be. The key takeaways from this session were:
- AIESEC is a global, independent, non-partisan, non-for profit youth run organization. We are focused on world issues, leadership development, cultural understanding, and experiential learning.

Next session is Discovering Your AIESEC Journey, Riana as the Local Head of Talent Management of AIESEC in Bandung explained how AIESEC operates, highlighting its daily routines! She also introduced the various departments within AIESEC in Bandung and their contributions. Lastly, she outlined the Join AIESEC process. The key takeaways from this session were:

Unlocking Success: The Power of Strategic Leadership
Renno Meidi Akrommin, representing Schoters, shared valuable insights on “Unlocking Success: The Power of Strategic Leadership,” emphasizing the importance of critical thinking, bold communication, and adaptability through collaboration. His session included a workshop to challenge the delegates’ critical and analytical thinking skills, reinforcing that problem-solving is key to implementing successful strategic leadership. The key takeaways from this session were:
- Three Characteristics of Leaders Who Implement Strategic Leadership

Informative Sessions
In addition to the leadership-focused sessions, Youth Today x Join AIESEC 2024 also featured informative sessions such as “Personal Value Assessment” by Aulia Azmi Izzatulhaq (Lily)and “AIESEC Future Leaders by EwA” by Difanka Araminta (Ara). Lily shared valuable insights on the Personal Value Assessment (PVA), explaining its importance and timeline, and how it helps delegates identify their core values. Meanwhile, Ara introduced the AIESEC Future Leaders program, detailing its structure and how it empowers young leaders to create a positive impact in their communities. These sessions provided participants with essential tools for personal and leadership development.
