AIESEC in Indonesia was in the spotlight at the Asia Pacific Leaders Summit (APLS), a leadership conference in Cambodia, 22th-26th November. The reason is, AIESEC Indonesia is able to bring home seven awards, as well as being the best in the Asia Pacific.
The Member Committee awards obtained include:
- Limitless Entity Award – Best AIESEC Entity in Asia Pacific
- Marketing Striving for Excellence Award
- oGTe (Global Teacher) Acting Sustainably Award
- Living Diversity Asia Pacific Collaboration Global Talent Indonesia & India
- Living Diversity Asia Pacific Collaboration Global Teacher Indonesia & India
- oGV (Global Volunteer) Acting Sustainably Award
- iGV (Global Volunteer) Acting Sustainably Award
The Local Committee Awards obtained include:
- Enjoying Participation TM Award – AIESEC in UI
- Enjoying Participation TM Award – AIESEC in President University
- Living Diversity Asia Pacific Collaboration Global Talent – AIESEC in UPNVY & AIESEC in Jaipur
In addition, AIESEC in Indonesia also received an award at The Leadership Congress. The Leadership Congress is a combination of international president’s meeting and regional XPROs to have one single event that brings together the leadership bodies of the AIESEC Network. The event was held for 6 days on the 2nd – 8th March 2021.
The award is divided into 2 parts: the Member Committee Award, and the Local Committee Award. For the Member Committee Award category, AIESEC in Indonesia achieved the Global Excellence Initiatives Award and was nominated for the Global Finance Sustainability Award.
Not only that, AIESEC in Indonesia’s local committees also reaped a number of achievements in the Local Committee Award:

- Network Engagement Award – AIESEC in Semarang (Nomination)
- Entity Excellence Award – AIESEC in UPNVY (Nomination)
- Entity Excellence Award – AIESEC in UI (Nomination)
Through these awards, AIESEC in Indonesia managed to show excellence in the last term. It is hoped that AIESEC in Indonesia can always maintain its achievements in the following years.
